Date of Service: Jun. 27, 2018

BURLEY – Jared Stanley Zollinger was born on December 29, 2004, in Cedar City, Utah, to Jon and Robyne Zollinger. He joined his siblings, Corinne, Jacob and Hailey. Jared crossed through the veil on Friday, June 22, 2018.

Jared loved life. He enjoyed just being able to go and do. Whether it was learning and perfecting skate boarding skills or building himself a sun dial to keep track of the time while outside. He was looking forward to being able to drive and took every chance he could to do it.

Music was a very important part of Jared’s life. His love for this blossomed from a great piano teacher. He was able to get to the level to play at church. This talent was used to be able to learn the trumpet. He was able to play in the Declo Junior High band with some of his best friends. The highlight of Jared’s music talent was his guitars. He taught himself how to play the acoustic and bass guitars. He was looking forward to a bass guitar opportunity in the band.

Jared loved to play sports. He started with playing basketball in elementary school. This later turned to soccer in junior high. He was able to be a part of the first Declo Junior High soccer team. He recently had just finished competing with his ward youth group in their softball tournament.

Our dear Jared was always an example of kindness and love. He loved to be around people and to help them in whatever way was needed. He had a tender heart and was kind to everyone. He also had quite the sense of humor and loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. It was hard to have a bad day when Jared was around.

Jared had many good friends and cousins of all ages. He could be found entertaining even the smallest of cousins.

Family left on earth to remember Jared are his parents, Jon and Robyne Zollinger; siblings, Corinne, Jacob and Hailey; grandparents, Alan and Judy Zollinger, Ron and Colleen Caldwell and Don and Kathy Breinholt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Greeting Jared on the other side of the veil are his aunt, Dawn Zollinger; great-grandparents, Stanley and Dona Dickinson, Carmen Caldwell, Ray and Inez Zollinger, and Melvin and Helen Olsen.
