HEYBURN – Jerry Lee Kuhn, a 77-year-old Heyburn resident, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley.

Jerry was born October 5, 1940, in Filer, Idaho, to Alfredo & Ruth Kuhn.

Jerry worked various jobs around Gooding & Shoshone, later moving to the Minidoka area where he went to work for Kloepfer Concrete driving mixer truck for 22 years. In 1993, he went to work for Minidoka Highway District and retired after working there for 14 years.

Jerry enjoyed gold mining and camping. He had many hobbies including his horses, collecting antiques and model railroading with his friend, Kurley.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna Jean; three daughters, Pam Whitaker, Kareen Cornell, and Merna Tranmer; two brothers, Max, and Duane; grandchildren, Dannel (Ryan) Burton, Spencer Scott, Brandy (Cory) Reed, Jordynn (Dallon) Tranmer, Arlis, and Morgan; and seven great-grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jack.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Cassia Regional Hospital staff, doctors, and the 911 first responders that were always there for us. They were treated by all like family, with care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 8, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley.
