Lois Mae McNeil

PAUL – Our beloved mother, wife, grandma, and great-grandma, Lois Mae McNeil, an 89-year-old resident of Paul, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at her home.

She was born July 19, 1928, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Royal and Ona Brundage Sexton.

Lois loved horses, fishing, Western dance, and her LDS faith. She had so much love in her heart she would often be seen with a baby in her arms; she absolutely loved babies. Lois was also very devoted to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur McNeil; her children, Shannan (Carl) Gunn, Ricki Ann (Gary) Beedell, Nanette (Dave) Williams, Justin (Wendi) McNeil, Lisa Ledford; and six grandchildren, whom she raised out of love after raising her own children, “always a mother.”

Lois was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon (George) Allred; one son, Ronnie (Pam) White; and two grandchildren, Astin Wallters, and Astin Kroon.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Paul Stake Center, 424 W. Ellis St., where family and friends may call from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Dean Stevenson. Burial will be in Paul Cemetery.
