To Dennis family, If Forrest we’re here he would tell you that Dennis was such a wonderful employee in the days of Halls Farm and Home . He did so much to make it successful and was great to everyone. It was a privilege to know him.
From Bob & Patrice Cole:
Our sincere condolences to Jerri, Dana, Aaron and Cody, also grandchildren and great grandchild. Dennis was my oldest and best friend. We grew up on adjacent farms. As I recall, we became friends while riding the same school bus, with Dennis being in the second grade since he was a few months older than I was. He was always a loyal and true friend, even when there were years that we were sometimes thousands of miles from each other and were not able to get together often. He was always fun to be around and we shared a common interest in World War II stuff, cars (especially the mid-60's Jaguar XKE sports car) and among other things, the space program. We watched together as Neil Armstrong took his first step on the moon in July 1969. Dennis was blessed to have Jerry Lynne as his beloved wife and their children. Beyond their sorrow at this time, they will have many wonderful memories of life with this wonderful guy. Our thoughts and prayers to Jerri and their family.
From Sheldon Lynch:
Sorry for the loss. DJ was a great guy, he will be missed by all who knew him. I am sure he is up there telling jokes to all his past friends. Prayers for healing.
From Karen Willeford:
Dennis, I remember the day the girls and I met you on a beautiful day in May, 1969. Who knew how all of our lives would weave together for more than 50 years. I always enjoyed our brief visits when we popped into town. It was a pleasure to know you. Rest in peace, my friend.

Dear Jeri & family, we were very sorry to learn about your loss. We have fond memories of the many church activities we all participated in when our children were growing up. Whenever we were a customer at any of the businesses he was employed at we were never treated as "just" a customer, he always had a great smile and was so eager to help us ,he was great at what he did! I know you will all miss him greatly, our thoughts and prayers are with you all .May you find some comfort with all the good memories you shared as a family.

Dear Jerri and family, I was so sad to hear about Dennis. Margaret had told me that he wasn't doing well. I have great memories of making quilts, red and green papers on the door, and complaining about our kids and life in general and then laughing!!! I am thinking of you and know a little of what you are going through.
From James Manning:
Dana, Aaron and Cody, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I have very fond memories of growing up on our cul-de-sac and all the fun we all had together. You guys were great at kicking off the walk to school and getting us to school on time every morning.

Dennis was in my CSI walking class, and he hardly never missed coming. A friend to so many, and we all loved to get his "High 5", as we walked. A special guy. We know he is in a better place. Blessing to his family.
