DECLO – Gabriel Agustin, a 53-year-old resident of Declo, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center.

Gabriel was born November 8, 1968, in Patamban, Michoacan, Mexico, to Teofilo Agustin and Maria de Jesus Gonzalez Agustin. He married Guadalupe Diaz and together they had five children.

Gabriel was always smiling and happy. He was outgoing and always willing to lend a hand to others. To his family, he was a loving husband, father, and the greatest grandpa! He would do anything for his family. He had a great work ethic and was devoted to his job in the dairy industry for many years. He also loved karaoke singing and made sure that he was always the one with microphone.

Gabriel was preceded in death by his father, Teofilo. He is survived by his loving wife, Guadalupe; children, Miguel (Marissa) Agustin, Gabriel (Karla) Agustin, Edith (Kendrick) Castro, Lorena Agustin, and Maylin Agustin; and eight grandchildren.

The funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, at St. Thérèse Little Flower Catholic Church, located at 1601 Oakley Avenue, in Burley, with Father Eladio Vieyra as celebrant.

The recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place prior to the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at the church.

Following the services, the interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
